Fighting flies
Bugged by flies? Here are tips to combat them.
Ensure that the kitchen sink is clean, wipe dining table at regular intervals, have the refuse bin tightly shut and mop the floor at regular intervals. Screens to windows and ventilators could make it tough for flies to infiltrate.
Take a bit of dry soap and sprinkle it in the garbage bins to keep the flies away. `Tulsi' is also considered to be a good agent in repelling flies and you can have a small plant at home.
Take cloves, ground them and hang them in a sachet and it acts as a good repellent.
Some also suggest leaving around a dried orange peel.
